[Suggestions+Discussion] How rust can become better?

I apologize this maybe a long post, but I will bullet point the Items I think that shall be included and then explain my decision as to why.
With the New Rust still in development and with lots of bugs a lot of people haven’t played it due to it lacking in many areas. However US (community) can help improve the game by suggestions that could make the game more enjoyable to play.
I was playing on the Official servers when they first came out these are just some ideas/suggestion I have come up with be playing the new Rust dev. Some may be repeated from other posts, sorry if this is so, I made a list and placed it in word gathering more ideas each time I played.
New Implements
• Tutorial?
• Weather
• Waterfall ( fresh water may improve health)
• Planting ( coal or ash)
• Drugs ( berries)
• Trading?
• Boats.
• Traps
• Dummy crates
• Bottles tins?
• Bounty list?
• Resource caves
• Deer Heads and Antlers
Tutorial: let’s be honest its hard being a noob, as soon as you spawn your considered a threat or a source of resource. There is no point even shouting “friendly” no one is going to believe you. This would have to be single player, and on for a short period possibly giving the player 1 day of tutorial time. To stop players from staying on tutorial mode FOREVER!.
Weather: Rust is trying to create a Realistic gameplay, I feel that implementing weather will be the perfect to add to the game. The idea of thunderstorms, Rain, snow and sun will be something to look forward too. Post-Apocalyptic maybe ACID RAIN??
Waterfall: Currently some lakes and streams look very flat, implementing waterfalls will make it look more realistic. If this is implemented there is currently the issue of Thurst, Maybe this will solve it. Giving Fresh water could help Improve health?
Planting: In legacy there was a lot of Coal laying around my suggestion to solve this in Rust is to change it to ash and use it for soil. We all know that volcanic ash in soil is a great Fertilizer so why use it in this way? What will we plant? If there are current plants and berries on the map then players can harvest them and place near the house. This will also be good for pvp, stealing harvest and destroying plants. Suggestion 2: if this is the case maybe plants and berries should be rare and hard to find or respawn?... Which leads me to drugs or medicine, maybe another way or catching animals by poison.
Trading: Maybe an option to trade with other players for example 100 wood for 250 metal fragments ect ect? It not only promotes friendly gameplay but an act of survival as well.
Boats: Honestly i'm not sure on implementing boats, but I got really bored travelling across the land when their could be a quicker option. Its something to consider at least.
Traps: Bear, human, rabbit all the traps you can think off. Inspiration came from the tv program revolution: - [url]https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ToOFVdQutzg/mqdefault.jpg[/url].
Dummy crates: Normal looking crate rigged with explosive? Maybe a blueprint form a loot crate will be needed to make (make them a bit rare)
Message in the bottle: These should be server generated and contain blueprints or maps to hidden resources (such as the berries or Wolf Skull explained below) Once bottle is emptied it could be used as a Water bottle (see waterfalls) or a weapon (fuel grenade?)
Bounty list: In Legacy I had a massive issue with bandits or certain people targeting houses or specific people, maybe your character can save the name of the killer for a short period of time allowing others to target the bounty or to take revenge yourself.
Resource Caves: Precious metals such as gold or diamond doesn’t come from the sky you know? ( see animal caves as well) I don’t quite know where im going with this … gonna leave it as an unexplained idea.
Deer Heads and Antlers: Maybe if bottles aren't included use animals heads as Troughs? also Antlers are leathal, possible as use it as a weapon as a starter?
Improvements on current implements
• Character customisation (tattoos? Or skin branding?)

• Stacking
• Wolf skulls –

• Fish
• Search Sever
Character Customisation: No option to be female? Or even add more a facial element to the character to spot the difference between players. SOMETHING TO CONCIDER.
Stacking: Currently stacking is a major issue, it’s not like the better version in Legacy and there is considerably less space in your inventory.
Wolf skulls: Quite simply HEADMASKS! Wolf skulls could be used as headmasks or even small packages (hide items in skull and possibly able to bury it). If berries are implemented players are able to color their masks in different color? HAHAHA another point, when killing a deer or pig why do I get wolf skulls? LOGIC, this needs to be changed.
Animal caves: So I know that there are a lot of caves on the map, make a pack or wolves or bears hide in caves, (maybe a loot cave guarded by group of animals) this is to give it a more realistic look and feel. Animals (PRIMARILY) wolves tend to hunt in packs so a cave would be an option for shelter.
Poisoned/Fire Arrow: fire arrows speak for itself (camp fire using animal oil and cloth?). Poisoned arrows, again if berries or plants are implemented there could be poisoned arrows which cause more damage.
Fish: With the new weapon (spear) being implemented maybe the idea of fishes should be considered. Only in certain areas of the map and would decay overtime?
Servers: Sometimes I want to play on a UK server ( I live in the UK) My ping isn't as high and everyone speaks the same language so its easy to understand and its more enjoyable. I was thinking of there should be a search bar Like in Battlefield 4. It searches servers by continent and content. Either there should be a third party website dedicated to showing the IP of the servers your looking for or they can try and implement it in the menu.

I like your ideas you have posted. I see lots of the ideas floating around an I wanted to point on yours that [B]I[/B] haven't seen for myself because I am quite new here.
I would love to see traps. i love an everyone loves how path of exile traps, they had random mods on each box. On Rust theres no mods like that but would be cool to have different traps on any box an the ability for us to create traps on boxes as protection as well. its one of most favorite thing i like about path of exile an created lots of funny good times with RIPing party members chaos created events lol.

we will i believe have traps along with that being said just being able to place them on doors as a trigger, boxes, windows, could be hilarious. like a poison cloud that slowly spurts out poison gas filling the entire room of your house because someone wants to rob you lol. along with some trip wires XD. /golfclap
-I think they are working to separate the skulls an from animals, even their meat. what I like that you said about it I thought was cool was the [U]headmask[/U]. I think thats very nice to be able to craft and dress up like some shaman or something using wolf, boar, bear.
-The Animal cave idea is really cool an habitat experience. you made me think of bats on top of a cave that would could all jump on your head an blood suck you... you know we all have that vampire bat fantasy even though they usually like fruit but still this is a game :P. I do like caves though alone even :P.
-I think your skin branding idea is very cool! never actually seen that before would be nice to establish guilds teams etc in the game as we do now but able to brand each other too ;)
-Message in a bottle is interesting considering there is nice vast amounts of water an beaches.
-your waterfall sounds good i did think of that myself along with being dirty. would be cool if you can actually be dirty, they have a comfort meter in the game on legacy when you stand next to fire. I was wondering can you become uncomfortable applying cleanliness to a factor like tracks less focus for a character. I think of myself I would feel less focus; itchy, an prob get sick from not taking a shower. sick could be a negative alignment for us. I was also thinking of the water as well. they will have a way to drink it but how would it be acquired. if theres water in ocean an waterfall couldn't you extract it from these sources anywhere an drink it or would have to filter it first? murky water instant sick, charcoal can yes be very useful in this system along with paper to make filters to clean it. i picture myself in situations where I would have to drink some murky water sometimes because I am just too thirsty in sacrifice for some health due to lack of materials to craft.
-whether I think is being worked on but acid rain was pretty interesting as well. can be possible acid rain can actually harm stone, metal an create corrosion. Creates irritation to us our eyes even, plants, lol there goes your farm health bro lol, better treat that fast. too much sulfur from campfires in the world yes could create that thats very phenomenal naturally as well but yes possible along with other disasters that came to mind like earthquakes, volcanoes, blizzards, floods, which could bring huge dynamic impact on the games survival aspects as well as realism teamwork, wars, resource providing as well.
I have friend from Australia who can't really play any of the official servers stable because of ping an network activity. I think there should maybe add a server just for that area could help. Theres always AUS servers as modded only even in legacy i see multiples but never as a official. Singapore is closest to him but he doesn't like the server being given the languages that tend to go there are Asian decent. Some English an AUS do go there an players from new zealand etcs although its not too direct. You will always also see lots of Russians connecting to Amsterdam servers etc because of the distance. they could use one also. just some extra basic huge mainland servers to create some player base as well as connectivity.
Traps are planned.
Weather is planned.
Character customization has been planned for fucking months and has had more than a hundred actual threads created asking for it since.
Trading is already possible: throw your shit on the ground and trade. If you don't trust the guy, don't trade. Rust doesn't need to give you a secure trading UI.
Same with bounties. You can already do it. Shout in the server chat that you're placing a bounty of X on the target. Pay X to the person who provides proof they were killed.
A tutorial is completely low-priority at this point; the game is in alpha development. Make it work, then make it pretty. If you're not ready to read up on how to play Rust in alpha, you shouldn't be messing with an alpha.
They already had waterfalls implemented, which were seen from boulders shaped like dicks that peppered the landscape. But it appears they removed those for now when they added procedural map generation, and we might see proper waterfalls again soon once they get the topography squared away.

Thanks sorry if I already outlined some of the ideas that already in the works but this has been in a word documents for months and I just added every idea that came to mind every time I played. Only just posted them on reddit :/ Its good to see waterfalls and weather is going to be added im really excited for those :D
