When i launch a server on the rust experimental it joins the server i respawn and after 5 or so seconds of running around i get kicked to the main menu and the console reads Disconnected:Connection Timed Out Disconnected-Returning To Main Menu. Iv had this problem since the day Rust Experimental was open to the public :( please help!
Are you launching RUST from Steam or from a shortcut? It was my understanding that launching RUST Experimental from the shortcut bypasses EAC, which will then kick you after a very short time of being in the server. I could be wrong here, and it may not be your issue either since I don't think they had EAC running for as long as they have had the Experimental branch open to public.
I have tried every method of launching the game from external short cuts to steam library. I don't personally think its EAC I am probably wrong but that's my opinion. Thanks for the help!
