Hey there, is there any chance to play Rust in Singleplay? Multiplayer sucks cause of many hackers or the bad servers who reset so often. Will there come in future a Singleplayer?

I don't get this. Why the hell would you want single player?? No point in crafting armor No point in crafting guns No point in crafting c4 No point of upgrading to metal doors No point in a furnace since you don't need metal or sulfur So essentially you gather wood and make a house... But, to answer your question: Use your head, man. Go find an empty server or host one yourself.
Rust is an online multiplayer game. The devs have no plans to make a singleplayer mode right now. Download the dedicated server, run it locally without port forwarding anything, bam, you're in singleplayer mode. Enjoy having no challenge.

Single player in rust dont make sense for me (my opinion). The game is still very limited. I just play when my friends are online!

Download server files and run it on your own PC ?

At the beginning of Minecraft everyone played it like hell without an multiplayer (multiplayer was for premium user who bought the game). You still can farm and build weapons to kill animals or something else. @thren: I thought about this before, but I dont know if my Internet capacity get rekt because I got one more Internet User who plays online games and I dont want to ruin his ping. Best regards.
Hi there I dont get why you wanna play rust alone since there is no threat when there are no Player I can accept people which like to play The Forest in Singleplayer since there is an AI Threat. But cmn :D Rust is Boring without players. If you want to get Creative go on an Empty Server or an Creative Modded Server
I understand why you want to play alone, I often do but on a friends server. I'm a Builder, I'm not interested in PvP, though it can be fun with friends, but i get more enjoyment in the Building Process. I like to build my creations without interruption from griefers and idiots who kill builders on sight.
Well, I think im not up to date. The Zombies are deleted and the bears? With Zombies and the wild animals, singleplayer would make sense. I played it a half year ago and stopped cause of gay griefers and killers.

Zombies are gone, go find a different game if you want zombies. Rust is not a zombie game. The zombies were placeholders because the game was that unfinished. Read the devblogs on playrust.com for all the info you'd want about experimental. Rust is not being built to be a singleplayer game. Period. You might as well ask for a single-player offline World of Warcraft.

Pick one and you will be the only person on it. Even a server with one or two people should be about the same. A few times I wanted to just play by myself and I did this, although I prefer being hunted by man.
I can understand wanting to play alone for a bit just to learn the game mechanics; I'm hoping eventually when the game is near release they have a sort of tutorial to show new players the basics of the game.
