How frequently does the server check for updates?
I am running a server with the -autoupdate parameter and it is running half an hour without closing itself. Am I doing something wrong?
That switch is hit and miss.. I turned it off on mine, its unreliable. No idea if its tied to the host or what but it just doesn't work most of the time.

it doesnt work reliably. thats why rust servers are always so slow to update. community, vanilla, official, doesnt matter theyre going to need someone to manually update them. There is the -autoupdate but too bad, its been broken since as long as i can remember (april 2015 at least).
