Is it just me or does the bow have the ugliest place-holder art in the game, after being in favor of this simple but deadly weapon since I bought Rust a few months back I tended to pay more attention to how it looks, while it is usually just under the players field of vision you still see it often enough and thats when I just kinda realized this. The made the tool cabinet (might I mention is making its way out of the game in the future) look nice long before they have even thought of the bow. This is just my personal thought, but if there's one thing I want for the holidays from Rust is a newer, nicer looking bow. D:
They worked on the cabinet because later on they may use it as furniture.
Seems fine to me. It's a bow you made from cloth and tree bark. Are you expecting some carbon fiber compound archery rig or what?
Getting tired of all the "They updated the tool cabinet even though it's going away, why can't they do X" posts. Can't imagine that updating the six flat sides of a 3D rectangle took very long at all compared to a movable, bendy object like a bow. And, as mentioned above, they said when they released it that they intend to reuse the cabinet art in the future.
Sure the bow could be made to look a bit nicer. But it's supposed to be basic. That's its function. Having it also LOOK basic is fine by me.
