• Returning to RUST

Yo, As a BANNED ex-cheater (Congrats on beating the fuck out of AA), I'm considering making a return legitimately, However I'd like to do so with my main account. I am curious if I remove the game from my library with the new steam tool, and then re-purchase, Am i able to return with that account, or will it be instabanned by EAC because it is flagged as banned? Thanks in advance inb4 hatespeach about cheaters.
Removing Rust from your library doesn't remove your Steam ID from the EAC banlist. Otherwise it'd be so trivial to abuse.
bans are permanent, the account was your payment to redeem yourself to your fellow gamers. if it could just be overturned because you apologise or take a few months off, it would lose all meaning. same reason for being unable to uninstall/rebuy the game on your main.
NO! we dont want people like you in our games. This is a clean and adult community! Cheating is childish and unfair against other players. It also ruins the game experience and it ruins your life! Go to church and pray 10 father unser...mayber we let you return...but even jesus hates cheaters !!!

In my opinion i think he deserves a 2nd chance, But sadly once you're banned you're banned for good. Like you said "This is a clean and adult community" So shouldn't you as an adult use your common sense and give him a 2nd chance... I wouldn't Mind him in My Rp server even tho we are against hackers, and have the strictest rules, But if he has learn't from his mistakes he is more then welcome.
Yo, ... with the new steam tool, ...
What new steam tool?
What new steam tool?
u can remove a game from your library - forever.
he HAS a second chance; make a new account, and rebuy the game. like every other cheater in rust. hell, he can have a fifth, sixth, and hundred and twentieth chance if he just keeps making new accounts and buying rust again. some people don't even need the first ban to figure out that cheating in online games surprisingly doesn't make friends.
"I'm considering making a return legitimately"
Same validity as a junky coming clean, an alcoholic pretending he'll stay sober or a pedophile coming out of prison and telling me he's cured and can babysit my children. What leads someone to cheat has no cure, yes sometimes with big efforts it can be controlled but once a cheater, always a cheater. They can burn in hell!

except the alpha argument makes sense in the context of a game provided for the purpose of beta testing en masse, while needlessly advocating an outdated version of the game while ignoring the game's changes and direction does not

Thanks for the answer to the question, Other comments aside. Yes, I openly admit cheating is fun, BUT, It's not as fun as playing rust in general, so when one costs the other, I'll most definitely choose to play w/o them Let me Clarify: My cheating is only ESP (Boxes around players/objects) which I limit to OBJECTS (Nodes) only, because of limited play time, and the need to build. I never used the cheats to gain a pvp advantage, to HACK (Speed / Jump / NoClip / Perma-day / No fall damage etc...) that is available. Only to maintain a building and expand, with limited time.
Don't justify your cheating here. Nobody will give you sympathy. If that was really so important for you, go play on a modded server that has a gather multiplier. Just keep your nose clean going forward. And also you will want to remove every trace of the hacks that you can find. Reformatting Windows may be a good idea. If any scrap of the hack is left (and you're giving control of your computer over to the hack writers so you never know what they've actually done with your machine) and gets detected, you'll get banned on your new account even if you did not directly use hacks. Anticheat detects hack signatures, not if you use hacks to gain an advantage; anticheat programs can't read minds and determine intent.
Don't justify your cheating here. Fuck you OP * politically correct edit: you got busted man and if you feel like cheating again prepare to buy another copy. But theres hope as long as you learn from your mistakes...
