Ever since the p250/ Whether update I see Huge white boom spots everywhere and it is making it impossible for me to see in game is there a command to turn those off please help. Note I play on a mac and before the update I could play the game almost perfectly, also i already tried to turn off quality boom (or whatever it's called) and it still doesn't work. Mate, Are you running the game on minimum gfx.. with 2Gb RAM and a Dual Core..? Cause i think yur bloom spots is cause by poor graphical performance (I believe because you have your GFX turned down the bloom is causing reflection generation of both Water and Land because they are recognized as solid objects with no blended textures or grass mesh polygons to dull the light.. Try the following, Turn Of Depth of View Turn the textures slider to 50%(Half way) Turn your water reflection on Turn Ambient Occlusion On, AntiAliasing Low Enable Paralax Scrolling Turn your Fov to 70 Lens Dirt Off Turn Grass Textures on but low F2 Is your setup, If it still continues to act up i would consider a driver update as yur card may not support the features rust now has..
I experienced the same yesterday, but only for a while. My settings weren't set to the minimum.
What type of Mac? specs? do F1 type: graphics.shadowdistance 0 to get better FPS, but I don't think this will help your issue. Are all graphics turned down (except shaders and grass level)?
I get the same spots. Its nothing to do with the FPS. I am playing the game maxed out with 80 frames average. I have the same problem. Some type of trees have some sort of reflection that looks like a spotlight. Already tried everything in the options menu. All my friends are reporting the same. We are not using macs btw.

Should be a bug for MAC users. Hope they can fix it soon.
Me too. The game is unplayable for a lot of us right now. FP, can you please give us a comment on this? It would be nice to know when we can play Rust again? The last comments by Garry are asking for info about this on Reddit. Then players game lots of info. Then no comment from Garry or anyone at FP. This is a game breaking bug.
I have exactly the same problem my system configuration: MacBook Pro 13' 2004 years OS X Yosemite 2,6 Ghz Intel Core i5 8Gb 1600MHz DD3 Intel Iris 1536 Mb
Mac user here too, got the same issue....so freakin annoying, since I've loaded the update. Last weekend was fine!
Same. MacBook Pro. 2013 Intel Iris 8 GB.
Need some help from facepunch to know if this means MacBook Pro can/can't handle this game anymore, hoping that's not the case, love this game!!!
If they broke the game for every Mac user, then they will fix it. I have read at least 8 different players posting about this issue. I think it might be all mac users.
