1) you can hear him cutting trees sometimes, but thats when you know death is close and hearing him should be unsettling.
2) he may attack wood bases, tents, or small shacks.
3) he will run you down!
4) wildlife can get instakilled by the chainsaw when he runs them down
5) early game would be truly terrifing
6) loggers have pretty good protective gear so making this boss tanky makes sense.

got to admit that randomly spawned entities that drops specific loot would be cool. for example this chainsaw guy would drop a chainsaw; there would be no other way to get one than to loot him, or loot someone who has.

Yea i was imagining looting his lumberjack outfit and loggers have pretty heavy duty gear nowadays like a helmet and chainsaw proof pants.
edit: his chainsaw should sip fuel though, cutting wood (trees and houses) does dick to durability.
1) equip
2) right click pulls ripcord (lower fuel mean a few more pulls sometimes)
3) left click 4 gibs
I would like to see something really terrifying like the deathclaws from fallout. Not that they aren't easy to beat at some point but they do not lose their scary appearance.
I want to have a butler... but otherwise, in the end, any type of NPC would be cool, hell, other npc-survivors to plunder etc. could be interesting.
