first sorry for my english,
My girlfriend has a laptop, we usually played lagacy rust two years ago,
after new rust version we had problem to open the game, so we choose wait
until fix because we know that is an alpha game, but after all this time we still having
this problem to open the game, i tried many things, change graphics, update all drivers
but nothing worked, the main menus end servers menus open normally, i can choose
serves but in the end of loading the game crashes (after appears DONE).
the laptop is fine because we can play others online games like
Viceras cleanup, warframe and natural selection normally,
our Laptop is:
win7 32bits
processor I7 M620 2,67ghz
Memory 8gb
Graphic card ATI mobility Radeon hd4650 1gb
Resolution in game options:
1366x768
fastast
display 1

I'm pretty sure that if you have 32 bit windows, you can only use a max of 4GB ram.
I'd suggest installing 64 bit windows first, you'll be able to use the 8GB ram which might help a bit.
Not sure about the age of your graphics card, that might be a bit of a problem as well.
You will have to update to 64bit to play Rust as it is now, as 8GB is required for even the minimum specs.
I am almost certain that your graphics card is only DX 10.1 compatible, run the game in DX 9 mode.

I tried now in directx9 and crashed faster, before apperars "done" in load.

1. It's Windows 7 32 bit
2. Your card can not play DX 11
3. Your card only has one gb of vram
4. Rust needs to be alot more stable.
5. Your computer does not meet the minimum system requirements.

Your specs do not meet the requirements, the minimum requirements for windows is Windows 7 32 bit.
Don't expect to play not meeting the minimum requirements.
If you get a 64 bit version then you should have like 30- 40 fps on fastest settings at a lower resolution.

i know this laptop is not the best but i tryed in other bad pc i3 3220/4gb/gtx650ti win7-32
and i played normally, i had 35-25fps in fastast 1600x900 but this graphic card is 2gb and dx11.
I dont understand, should i wait for more updates or better try format to 64bits the laptop and try again?
