when I place a lock on a door I notice there is a delay that seems to vary or depend on something that I am not aware of.
1. Place lock on door
2. press 'E' "make key"
3. key does not show up - repeat step 2 several times
eventually the key shows up - maybe after some farming of wood - not sure what I need but it seems to be a queued item that needs resources.
Please explain or point me to a key related thread - thanks!
You need 25 wood to make a key. As far as I know, it crafts instantly as long as you have the wood.
lag? normally should be instantly crafted as long as you have enough wood.
The key is made through the crafting system so if you're crafting anything else when you make the key those things have to finish first.
