• Ammo Suggestion 7.62mm

I'm loving how weaponry is developing in RUST but would hate to see it get overly complex in terms of weapon and ammo types. However, I do feel there's room for 7.62mm ammo, for the Bolt. The main reason, apart from damage dealt, is inventory slot space. It makes it a wee bit harder for fully geared guys to carry 'everything' and promotes a better team game.
Well, pro of 5.56 is, that the two main-wapons can use it both. At first sight, this looks like an huge advantage, due the player doesn't have to carry two types and thus got one slot in inventory. But srsly, a single slot doesn't make a change. But running out of bolt-ammo because you sprayed AK to much makes a change. One has to look at his ammo to ever keep at least 4-8 shoots in backhand to reload bolt if AK-spraying isn't a option anymore. If Bolt takes other ammo than AK, you doesn't have to care about that anymore. Simply carry two stacks of ammo, one for AK, one for Bolt, and you can spray the hell out of AK without running out of Bolt shots.
The bolt is horrible in the new version - it's a lost cause atm. It needs to take longer to reload, shoot further and have an iron site that actually tells you where your bullet is going. It's iron site is more fat than a boars theigh.
It's iron site is more fat than a boars theigh.
Dude, they changed the ironsight just with the latest patch. Unless you aim on the head, you should be able to see the enemy you are aiming at, if he's not too far away (50-100m I would say). Sure, in reallife thats the combat distance where assault-rifles are designed for, but this isn't arma here. Combat here has nothing to do with real life combat.
i hope they add the sks.
