it was freakin fine as it was. PLEASE PLEASE remove the time limit on roatation of walls/doors/doorways/eveything. -moto
Nah, the rotation block is okay. I wouldn't complain if we got some more building mechanics to construct things like fake walls and such, though.
I think it should at least reset rotation time limit when a wall is upgraded. Here's why. If you take over a base, you can do nothing about walls that are already there. At least we should be able to fix their position after upgrading them.

The only reason it was implemented in the first place was to fix stair vaults. So why not just have it for the large stairs? With the new walls being stronger on one side as well, this can be frustrating if you place something wrong.

Also please make it more obvious on thatch as to whether or not the direction it faces is inside or outside (UI visual). Upgrading should refresh the timer on destruction and rotation, but rotation would be confined to stair blocks and the like. Doors having a strong side is just odd to me, as it is restrictive.

You're gonna have to deal with it, this mechanic isn't changing any time soon.
I like the idea of resetting timer when a wall is upgraded. But besides that the rotate lock should apply to every object except maybe doors as realistically changing hinges isn't that hard.
