First of all sorry for the crappy english.
Im sure im not the only one whos running a high Pop Server. And we lack on Performance. The last build made me to disable Animals with AI.think 0 and AI.move 0 otherwise the Ai.handler just laggs out (nothing new i guess - dohhh), also i have to restart the Server every 3 hours otherwise the net.sv.cycle error will happen and give the People Timeouts while playing = lagg.
My Server is modded but im sure it is not related to oxide. The net.sv.cycle is Managing the packets and stuff and sure oxide will use them also with some hooks. Sure high entities fuck the Server as well. But i will wipe with the comming update and im sure i will face the same Problem 3 hours later. I was able to create a Server thats really famous in the EU and it seems i cant do more to handle the lagg.
I know it is a Alpha, but please, you must do something about the Performance of the serverbuild.
I checked everything i talked to my Host i talked to Oxide i talked to Rustafied, almost everybody got the Problem and noone can solve it, if they got a lot of Players and high entities. But it seems that the Problems is not only related to Entities im sure it are the Playerconnections as well.
Maybe it is the engine maybe its a error in the code.
I love how you update the game, but sometimes i think was it Need to add horse and guitar if we still dont reach a good Performance? I remember League of Legends and all Lolplayers would agree with no more "Teemoskins" hehe
Im kinda sure for changing the AI.handler and the Net.sv.error must happen a forced wipe so i dont see any Progress here for 3 weeks, and especially not today and this makes me and my players sad :(
No beautiful horse will make the crap lagg vanish :(
