it could be a good trap if you place chest outside! I dont want to hear an alarm for every single item though.
* also if you have an alarm you could make an upgrade to a booby trap if you trigger said alarm.
Id rather just have a simple lock ability on chests, like in real life. Make people break the top off your chest to get in. Have armored chests and so on.. Why if i can make an armor wall, cant i make an armor chest? why would i only be able to make a wooden one.. i dont get it

exactly, theyre could just be a chest meta with different tiers and attachments.
