There is an exploit that is being abused in the game, it consists in hitting a foundation on a corner with a tool such as a pickaxe. It's not easy to do, but not that hard too.
If properly hit on the corner, the foundation will be hit as if it was hit by behind (weak spot) even if it exposes only its strong side.
It seems that there is an opportunity for players to hit [I]behind[/I] the shape of the wall.

But seriously, the patch just went out, they're obviously going to address problems the patch creates, sooner or later.
Can you provide a video or a description of what "properly" is so the devs can reproduce the error? It'll help them fix it easier, and I'm sure they'd appreciate the info. Also, without instructions to repro, the devs can't do much with bug reports like this.
I know what he is talking about, I am not at home right now, but I'll try to describe it.
It is a tiny area on the side of the foundation, at the top, where the (collision/hitbox) of the top of the foundation is able to be struck through the wall. I have only ever confirmed this with Stone wall/foundation.
This is not new to this update, and may even have been fixed. I can't wait to get home and do the rust.
Upon re-reading this it isn't very clear. I could record it when I get home, but I don't want to do the thing with the showing how to do exploits.

Isn't that an old bug that was just patched today? I saw a video of this like last week and when I read the patch notes today I figured they fixed it.
is the OP saying the bug is still there but maybe harder to exploit?
The exploit involved hitting a sweet spot high on the foundation about where it links with the wall.
anybody who play the game would have realized this bug by now. or maybe its just in my server ? i played on both official server and on 100 players community server. everyone on the server gets raided by this technique.
Here how it works.
place yourself near the foundation. your head need to be above the top surface of the foundation. hit down and hit the side of the foundation. it will ignore the x10 resistance and count your hit as if you were hitting the top part.
