I get banned and i only play for 1 day PLS HELP ME FACE PUNCH ADMIN - Rust

You got banned for cheating. Don't expect an unban. Especially not with that caps lock turned on.

Lying isn't going to help to get you unbanned.

Evidence of cheating please

It's not our job to prove he cheated. EAC detected something, so it's his job to convince us he didn't, even though it won't help him much.

It's also not your job to make judgment. You are just a lowly forum member but thanks for laying out the rust law like you wrote the book on it. All I'm saying is don't jump the guy until the facts are known.

There was a guy who got unbanned recently. But then it turned out his family shared account was running pay-hacks so he was banned again. I'm cooking some popcorn especially for this thread ;)

In the end, please someone correct me If I am wrong here but it was overturned and he was banned edit: Looks like EAC is starting to catch up this week

So far every single time the person posting has been found to actually have been cheating in some way. Originally people would dig up that the "victim" had an account on various hack providing sites, the proof being that they used the same name they signed up for Facepunch with or linked their Steam account or something other. Digging up such info is kind of frowned upon nowadays. The people being "harsh" are doing so as this same routine has happened over and over for nearly 2 years. Thing is, they ALWAYS post here as a last ditch effort/they think they have a better shot of getting the ban overturned here/etc. Either they honestly don't know to contact the respective anti cheat provider to dispute the ban or they know they are in the wrong and think to come here. Yeah, I know some EAC people do in fact monitor there boards, but I believe it would be easier to contact EAC directly rather than plead your case here.

But in a moral way I think its bad to not disclose how you got caught. Image you get a fine for speeding or something and they don't disclose anything other then you speeded, pay the fine or get sued. Here is their statement they wont disclose their practises. Humans are emotional and can make the wrong conclusion based on supporting evidence. EAC isn't emotional. It deals in fact. The fact is EAC detected a cheat and banned him. This isn't really disputable.

We're talking about anti cheat companies not backing up their bans without any hard evidence other then TRUST ME, I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING. Signed, someone who got banned by Evenbalance TWICE in error.

I've only seen EAC unban one person so far, and they were swiftly re-banned as it turned out they were using a family sharing account with paid-hacks.

People comparing cheating to legal system. What? This isn't something where your life depends on it. This is a videogame. If you get banned and you 100% know you did not cheat, you can try appealing it but do not expect any resolution.
