Hello Guys. I have question Firstly sorry my english. i hope u understand me i have [Macebook Pro](https://support.apple.com/kb/SP704?locale=en_US) 2.5 Ghz version My GPU : NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 2GB of GDDR5 But rust seem 1 gb Benchmark http://api.facepunch.com/#/2/benchmark/report/1a1f6fb79e6943e3914e9e86cf26e038 - fast - 1024 * 768 http://api.facepunch.com/#/2/benchmark/report/5d4190aa4f9b4e1caa61213666458d84 - fast - 1920 * 1108 http://api.facepunch.com/#/2/benchmark/report/d2f7111ad3054eaea31f9ed2dc98de76 - beautiful - 1680 * 1050 http://api.facepunch.com/#/2/benchmark/report/2cde271034c041bc9d4b2d0f201d7d09 - fast - 1689 * 1050 http://api.facepunch.com/#/2/benchmark/report/6d136bb261844c888d664fda056de1b9 - fast -1280 - 800 look my GPU RAM 1GB any one know that why it's ?
your bottleneck is the dual-core processor
dual core processor idont under stand u man it's 8 core ? i7 2.5ghz
dual core processor idont under stand u man it's 8 core ? i7 2.5ghz
Pff Sorry wrong thread. No you do not have a dual-core processor. You have 2.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor mobile. It's a ok cpu. Mmm you have two gpus being a laptop and all. Intel Iris Pro Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 2GB of GDDR5 memory rust sometimes likes to use the integrated chip processor instead of the more Superior GPU. check to confirm the gpu, I think it's F2 and you can see you What GPU rust is playing on
it's use NVIDIA GeForce GT 750 but it's sem 1 gb ram :( i try windows on bootscamp http://api.facepunch.com/#/2/benchmark/report/6d32e42a78bd460e82a9427975869fca -directx 11 http://api.facepunch.com/#/2/benchmark/report/dc322249fff44fcc9aee2305a721a20a -directx 9 and u see 1988MB on windows :/
1000 B = 1 KB - (kilobyte) 1000 KB = 1 MB - (megabyte) 1000 MB = 1 GB - (gigabyte) 1000 GB = 1 TB - (terabyte) (Exactly: 1024 MB = 1 GB) See a pattern? 2048 MB = 2 GB graphicsDeviceName: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M graphicsMemorySize: 1988MB = 2gbs processorCount: 8 HT I7 processorType: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4870HQ CPU @ 2.50GHz systemMemorySize: 16293MB = 16gbs of DDR3 ram
It really depends on which Iris Pro you have. If its the Iris Pro 6200, then sorry to say but that is more powerful than your pos gt 750m. http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GeForce-GT-750M-vs-Intel-Iris-Pro-HD-6200-Desktop/m7928vsm30277 Thats the prove. the Iris Pro 6200 is 48% better, which would mean Rust is using the right gpu, since the intergrated is better. I see this alot with people and laptops. They see a dedicated gpu and instantly think its better than an igpu, well 90% of the time an intergrated is better than the dedicated. A little advice use GOOGLE and research before spending so much money on something.
