Add additional filtering for quality/rarity and show how many of each of those are unlocked. That way we can easily see whether we need frags, pages, books, or libraries to continue unlocking things. In the form of check boxes? Checked, that quality of item appears in lists, unchecked, it doesn't. Would also help with list sizes. You can already do this with a wiki. This would add a superfluous information and give incentive to grind the bps. I feel like the BPs should be more fluid than this. I wish the BP system to completely disapear and be replaced with the need for various workbenches, vices, anvil, machine-tools, etc. That would make everyone play on an even playing field. I think the artificial BP system is very much against the founding principles of Rust: that everyone spawns naked with a rock and a torch. Right now some are much more "naked" than others right off the bat. I would like to see these various tools able to be moved so they may be stolen and seen as valuable.

It can be added where you need the certain work stations in order to make certain items, like LiF, HW, and RoK. The tools would be a great addition as well. So like 7DtD, with the workstation you need the certain tools as well. Make it so that some can only be found in certain areas too, more survival like. :wow:
Maybe all items are shown in the list, but the ones you haven't learned are grayed out. Hover your mouse over it, and it tells you what you need to learn it. I would like to see a search box for crafting too.
like LiF, HW, and RoK. The tools would be a great addition as well. So like 7DtD
Took me about 2 minutes to figure out you were talking about other games, not items. The bottom line is, rust developers probably aren't going to "make items like WoW". I like how rust has its own personality and style. I'm totally fine with the fact that rust is not requiring certain workstations to do stuff. It used to be that way and it got people annoyed.
Like world of Warcraft? :what: That's not a survival game, but yes Rust should have its own style. I wonder what the dev team is going to do because they want to do away with the cupboard and blueprint system and make something of their own.
How about we wipe the blueprints each wipe, We make the blueprints physical objects that we store in boxes (or a library maybe?), We can draw the blueprints using animal fat + charcoal for ink and wood for paper, Drawing blueprints can suceed or fail, items have a chance percentage. So, I want the assault rifle: I make myself a drawing board, I gather 10k wood, craft a ton of paper, start drawing until I have the blueprint. I now have the blueprint, I have to put it in my inventory to craft the AR and the blueprint is not used each time I make a new AR. This would give alot of incentive to raid because you would get both the loot but also the technology! We would have to be pretty determined to get high tier items that may require a couple minutes (wood chop + paper craft + animal gathering + charcoal + drawing) for a 2% try. That would really help make the game fairer for everyone since a wipe is a wipe is a wipe.
