Is it possible to request EAC to review a game ban for another persons steam id here? We're very sad to see that this friend of ours was banned for hacking. We defended him for months from hack accusations. We've also investigated him ourselves and never found anything. Must have been exceptional at hiding it as I've personally seen him get demolished while vanished. When he was banned we all felt betrayed. Could you give us some clarity on this matter? We'd like to know for certain, and put this to bed once and for all.

Why isn't your friend appealing it? Why has he just silently accepted his ban for three weeks instead of charging in here within hours demanding an explanation like the five other threads that've been made here in the last day or so?
At most you will get confirmation from EAC that the ban was for a valid automated detection or not. And again, if it was somehow not a valid detection, your friend doesn't seem to want to fight it, which is a bit curious.
Sadly for your friendships, cheaters often lie. They're already being deceptive and unfair by cheating, and if they did it to bolster their ego, admitting to their friends that they cheated is a very difficult pill to swallow.
