Hey guys, i usually play Rust on my brother's computer and run just fine, no problem. Today i tried to play in my laptop wich is a good laptop but only runs at 10-15fps. I already check if the drivers are updated and closed everything that might be pushing for the computer. Any resolution?
With those specs 10-15 frames sounds about right. I know someone with pretty much the same laptop, but hers has a faster cpu (2.66Ghz) and she only gets 10-20 frames on the lowest possible settings.
So it is a problem with the otimization of the game then?
I'd say it's a combination of optimisation and your low spec laptop man, not trying to be rude but that isn't in anyway a gaming laptop.

I've noticed laptops in general seems to suffer when it comes to Rust in terms of tps. My friend has a high spec laptop, not sure what specifications, but I know it cost him around $1500 and he has a major fps problem and gets around 10-20fps.
If you have two GPU in your laptop make sure the game is running on the better one. You may press F1 in the game to open console, in the information tab it should say which card it is using. Many people have had poor performance due to the wrong card being used.
