Minor fix suggestion - ladder hatches

I've playing with ladder shafts a bit (since it's a novelty since my last play) and love it.
Although, there is a minor inconvenience with them.

I've tried to build an "elevator shaft" with several hatches onto one another. The objective was to create a shaft several floors high that can be climbed up in one go when all hatches are opened (and placed in the same direction oc).

Unfortunately, currently, the opened ladder of N+1 floor hatch takes a bit of the open space of N hatch, so you cannot go through.
If it was possible for the developers to modify the hitbox of the ladder so that a player can move up/down several hatches at once it would be great.
