• Graphics not balanced ?

My computer can handle all at most. but.. Playing with graphics maximum is worse? it seems that is not balanced. With minimal graphs you have more vision and can see better people, has no shadow. etc... Who has the bad computer has more advantage? What is the best configuration of Rust in graphs? for better playability and vision?
everyone decides on his own. i choose to play on max graph cuz i love how the game looks
Well, having a good computer doesn't put you at a disadvantage as you can always drop your graphics to match a potato if you want, you have that choice; and of course a lesser pc will suffer FPS issues. to your point though I would love to hear if anyone out there has any tips for that "balance" but then why would someone give away their trade secret for awesome balance. Best to just stand on a mountain overlooking a populated area and have a fiddle with your graphics until you find a balance that is right for you perhaps? I just wack everything up high as I'd rather play a pretty game than have 0.5% "advantage". Absolutely going to stand on a mountain now and play with my settings now :P.

[/QUOTE] Could you please explain in what aspect you think bad graphics give advantage? ;) I'm currently playing with the lowest settings (not by choice, although I didn't try the higher settings because low framerate already ^^) and I really don't see how this could be deemed an advantage, if only because of textures being applied only when you're 5 meters within an object, meaning it's hard to identify things from a distance. I could understand if distance of view was related but as far as I know you can customize it independently, as well as field of view, so...
