• My friends can't connect to my Rust server using my external ip!

So I have created a Rust Dedicated Server on my pc. I have port-forwarded ports 28015 and 28016, I can join my server by typing "client.connect localhost:28015" into the console but my friends can't connect using "client.connect (external ip):28015". I have tried everything but nothing works, I can do everything on my server but my friends can't join. Also I have made a static IP address. Please Help asap. (please note : I am not the smartest with these things so please point out any mistakes I've made) Thanks.
Did your friends try to join without the :28015 at the end? Maybe wrong ip? Look it up here: http://www.whatsmyip.org

Make sure the local IP you opened the ports on is your computers IP.
You have port-forwarding set up in the router, yes?
Probably a BAT file thing If you haven't used it this is a great guide http://www.rustafied.com/how-to-host-your-own-rust-server/
