Garry for f**ks sake mate before going into xp and other sh*t can you think about fixing the god damn game for memory leak and do something about it , the game is f**ked on memory ... bought a new pc just for Rust not even 16 GB are not enough , Gtx 1080 low fps
I saw my task manager , now even if it crashes without "no reason" i can still play for about 4 minutes and then windows ends Rust with error message about memory .. out of memory

Could still be the memory leak in the unity engine (Yeah, they said it's fixed - duh). If so, facepunch
can't do shit about it, unity needs to fix it.
Better get your system straight. Never ever had any memory issues with rust so far, even when I used to have only 8GB of RAM.

Same here. I am playing with 10gb ram without having any problems too!
Unity as great as it is only make games run worse than they should, hidden textures comp viewable, layered water and so on - people with 60FPS should easily be getting 50% more
Lu what's your full pc specs?
Did you disable your pagefile? I had a few crashes due to setting my page file realy low so i incresed it to 16gig and all has been fine since.

Did you make sure in bios that your RAM is set to the right mhz?

There is nothing you kids can fix ... I made the post so devs can see it , not you or anyone else other then the devs , now move on ... if you are working on Rust then you can reply with fixing problems , all of you kids are giving some childish try fixes it's just retarded

Here is the thing, that is most likely to happen:
1. The dev's will never see this thread.
2. The devs will read the thread and decide not to help you anyways, due to how you write.
3. You will keep your problem until game release.
4. Full game release will work, but you have forgotten about Rust.
5. Everybody is happy.
Playing with 8gb RAM and running chrome in the background too. No problems.
