Tired of Hacker's? Tired of server with abusive or absent admins? Well after 1400 played hours in Rust, I have decided to start a server that is designed to be as hacker free as possible. Have problem with a player or stuck? No problem - We have also added the reporter plug-in (/report) so that admins are emailed any messages with player issue's 24/7. We have extremely active admins who are there to help players and catch those cheaters. The server is running a custom plug-ins to help prevent hackers from joining. Most hackers play on accounts with very low amount of hours played. To help prevent hackers from joining, players must have 25+ hours of played Rust time to be able to join. Local backups are taken 3 times a day so there is no risk of any updates wiping the map. We have also added some new resources and surprises. Best configured server out there, hands down.

I think it's nice knowing who gets the kills and what does the compass matter to someone who can just login to rustmap.net? I don't understand.

Takes away from emergent gameplay, and both feats feel like cookie cutters.

I would agree with that first point but maybe Vanilla is more your style? I've personally played on a lot of servers that implement this feature (Death Msg). The compass is negligible in my opinion it wouldn't do much to take away from gameplay because I don't even use it. Everyone has their flavor I suppose :)

I feel yea, but the death messages help the admins also catch fishy players. The compass is off by default can be turned on/off. ;) Any other questions - please let me know.

The player who died could just page an admin, after all [I]they[/I] are the ones who know who just murdered them (unless they are oblivious). Why should everyone know? Global chat is a burden as is lol

Yes but the player has no idea on range he was killed from. Best of luck to you in your server hunt.

So the player needs a casual feat. to hold their hand? What does it matter how far away they were shot from if they're already dead? You make no sense.

My Point is it logs every kill and the distance of each one. The admin on this server go over these logs daily, and are also used when a player calls hacking accusations.
Has nothing to do with holding their hand. A Death message does not give the player any advantage at all.
Little more clear? Sorry if I didn't explain in detail why this was used on my server.
Pop holding w/ 20+ and growing, Join for a really god server and Admin who actually cares!
