Haha. Love the suicide on the first one. I can see explosives will be fun in PVP not just raiding. Drop some c4 in a bush when getting chased kinda fun :)
Not too big of a fan of the aoe, but I guess it is more realistic. But then again, making "fake" rooms will be sort of useless if the wall next to it is at 20% hp after the one you aimed at is take down.
What happens to loot boxes? By the looks of it, all the stuff you actually want to raid, will be left on the ground and de spawn before you can get to it.
I'll be building on rocks again, if you cant reach or gain access to my walls your C4 is useless
Having only played a few hours the last week, and not having played legacy at all, this looks kinda neat. I was dreading the idea of explosives already (would prefer stability/fps optimization/lerping fixes first) but this looks fun I must admit.
Also I dont believe you should be able to build on rocks right now. Honestly, if I cant build on a 9% slope cuz I can only go 3 foundations wide, theres no way you should be able to build 7x8s on every perfectly flat top rock formation around. Make it so people at least cant demolish their stairs every 20 seconds if you really want that aspect.
You know, I like the idea you have to build in inaccessible areas to be safe(ish). It creates competition for certain areas of the map and the poor suckers who build on the ground will get hit first!

It is possible to build on a 9 degree slope, I've proven it. I built Valhalla using my technique. I built it around and on top of mountain peaks.
