Hi, i bought gmod yesterday and when i join a server it downloads files then when i join the game i see errors and alot of stuff is shown in purple.
btw. this is what it says in console "Ignoring (file name that was downloaded) because SE is on and it's not in the VFS"
Is there any way to fix this?!

What games do you have? It shows purple and black because of missing textures, and for missing models it would be "ERROR".
i have Team Fortress 2
can i download those textures somwhere?

Most servers require Counter Strike Source now. If you got TF2 free it doesn't come with SDK so no props from the game.
You might as well buy The Orange Box to get HL2, EP1 and EP2 since they need those games as well.

tf2 does come with sdk... and i have props from the game

Do you have Counter strike: Source? Most models and materials on servers and maps are from cs:s. One of my members got the same prob with one of our servers, he dosent have cs:s.

Yes, that is what I did. All the 'error's were gone.
