rdware specs - Intel Core i7 - 4 GB - AMD Radeon HD 6750M - OS X Snow leopard Is there anything I can do which is not too complex to edit existing maps? Such as make objects movable, or change the texture of some of the ground? Thanks.
you can use the hammer editor in the source sdk, i think it comes with any source game. thanks dude! [editline]6th July 2011[/editline] So, I have hit my first problem. I have counter strike source installed, but when I select source SDK from the tools tab, it says unavailable. Any clues? is it not available for mac? Cheers.
have you run counter - strike before?
yes I have, any suggestions? Cheers.
It isn't available for mac. Parallels (or other vm's that can run windows) or bootcamp are your only way forward. Of course, even if you have a way to run the source SDK you cannot just "edit" pre-made maps - you'd have to decompile them first.
thanks cloudhunter, and can I use my steam account for windows aswell as mac?
Yes you can. Your Steam account will work on as many computers as you want, of any kind you want (well, provided the computer can run Steam, of course).
