I'm getting this error with Gmod on CentOS 5+. From what I'm understanding, it's because the library is compiled against a newer version than the one CentOS currently has. I was wondering if anyone had an easy solution for it.
I am having the same problem, and it is not resolved, any insight?

Only thing I can find about it is upgrading to 6.
