Can't connect to certain servers?

Hey, I am having a annoying issue where I cannot connect to SOME servers, I only know I can't connect to ANY fearlessRP server, or that Zarp DarkRP one.

Basically, when I'm connecting to a server, it works perfect, but in some cases ( fearlessrp, zarp ) i just get stuck at 4 bars of loading and for a long while nothing happens and then I finally timeout, the loading screen behind the loading bar comes up fine and animated.

Any help appreciated.

Sometimes I timeout on the first connect, when you get kicked out due to timeout, open the console and type retry (or reconnect can't remember which one) and it should load

It looks like your computer just can't connect to the server fast enough. Try removing background programs and running the game with -dxlevel 80

-First of all try [B]removing[/B] or disabling all your [B]addons[/B] or just simply [U][I]reinstall gmod[/I][/U] ( might help )
-Then simply try [B]removing background[/B] programs [B][ 1. Open run and type in "msconfig" without quotationmarks 2. Go to startup tab 3. Disable programs ][/B]

if This won't help

-Check your [B]internet speed[/B] and post it in the thread

[U][I][B]Conclusion :[/B][/I][/U] Your pc won't connect to some servers cause they are to far away your computer / internet can't handle the distance so maybe these things will help if they won't post in the thread

Thanks, but it used to always work on the exact same router so. I tried disabling addons and re-installing. I dis-abled a good few programs I didn't exactly need from start-up, one of which was just tiled "program" with no icon which was weird. I will now restart then edit this post if any luck.

EDIT: I did all you said, but it did nothing and I still can't connect to the server.

Yeah, all of them, only in gmod there is SOME i cant connect to.

I think I might restore my PC to factory settings, you think that might help? Maybe I have some program or something doing it?

Could work but [B]do it on your own risk[/B] ! Restoring it to its defaults erases files so make a backup of files you need or simply run the backup if you don't like the restore you can reset.

It's fine, I restored millions of times haha, I will go do now, I backed up my stuff, and lets see if it works :D I reallllly hope so.

If this helps, here is a picture [ in this picture you see fearless rp, as you can see I see a player list and my ping and I can refresh. The thing is normally I can see the players in the player list, here I can't. This goes same for all servers that DONT work. Try asking your ISP for a new IP-address as yours might've been banned from those hosts.
That's the only thing I can come up with as you've basically tried [U]everything[/U] already.

That sounds like a good idea, to bad my ISP don't even know what steam or ping is. But, i'll try go on there "super-helpful" live chat. Thanks
