Is it possible to host a Garry's mod LAN server in steam offline mode?

My school doesn't allow steam to connect to the internet, hence the offline mode.
But I would still like to play TTT or Prophunt with people in my class who also own Garry's mod.
So long story short; Is it possible to host a Garry's mod LAN server in steam offline mode?

Keep in mind that the port forwarding and firewall stuff still applies.

Even if you try to start an online server it will still appear on the lan tab and you can still locally connect to it anyway using the connect command.[/QUOTE]
