[MAC OSX 10.6.8] Garrys Mod crashes when entering a server.

When I connect to a server, I crash every time. It might be affiliated with a thread somewhere in Facepunch. There are models that for some unknown reason crash the Macintosh. One of these is the Train wheel base.
I have tryed
Clearing Addons
Clearing GarrysMod
Re-installing Garrys Mod
Verify Garrys Mod
And a bunch of other stuff.
However, playing single player works.
I had this problem and it has not been resolved
