Garry's Mod Crash Problem - Insufficient Pool Page Memory

Posting this on behalf of a friend who can't remember his account here. The problem is, my friend is attempting to start Gmod, only to have it crash on him due to the error "Internal drive error - likely out of OS page pool memory!", and he's restarted his computer several times in order to remedy this problem.
I've attempted to help, suggesting that he increase his pagefile size, but even 10000 MB didn't do squat. So, if the gurus of Facepunch would kindly assist with this problem, he would be very appreciative.
He's using Windows XP Pro as an OS, unsure of his RAM size. Any information required, I will request from him.
The Paged Pool is a chunk of memory set aside for the Windows kernel and device drivers to use as memory. So pretty much, it extracts some RAM just for specific programs. Like Gmod in your case. I would recommend upgrading RAM to at least 2gb, but 4gb is better and 8gb (like I'm getting :3) is even better. Hope this helped.

ALSO, make certain you dont have any bs programs stealing your life blood of ram. Things running in the back round, whilst you play gmod. The best way of checking this is...
click start.
Go to run (Bottom of start menu)
type in msconfig.
see a tab called startup?
un check everything... anything that is critical for windows to load, will auto load its self back. computer will ask you to restart, do it.
BE HAPPY :-)
You should get some new RAM. Im currently running on 2 4GB sticks of DDR3 RAM, which runs PERFECT.
