Can't play any custom map besides rp_christmastown

I dunno if it's just me, but whenever i try to load a custom map, Gmod simply crashes to desktop without an hl2.exe has stopped working.

You think you could post any specific maps you tried that crashed the game?

And I have a similar problem as well, except it only happens with certain custom maps, such as rp_stardestroyer and that Final Destination map. Other maps such as gm_bigcity and gm_buttes work fine.
