I downloaded Garry's Mod on Steam, paid 10 bucks. When I see my add ons page it says "Nothing found!" I go to the workshop and hit the subscribe button. Now I have 3 pages full of random stuff that I subscribed on the GMod workshop. When I load Garry's Mod, it still says "Nothing found!"...
When I browse the workshop on Garry's Mod and hit the small install button, absolutely nothing happens. When I go to Application Support, Steam, SteamApps, Common, GarrysMod, garrysmod, addons, all I see is the addons.txt file even though I downloaded everything.
I'm using a Mac, and I want to animate in Garry's Mod. I have everything, except for the need of Addons to load. This is irritating me a lot how Steam is just basically saying "Duh, yeah.... I don't want you to load this." "But why?" "Because.... No! LOLOLOLOL" "Seriously?"
When I hit the sub button it doesn't even show the loading bar on the bottom of the screen.
I really need someone's help.
Contact Steam support; this is not a GMod issue but a workshop issue.
I do just want to say, this is why I do not recommend Mac / Apple computers, but regarding your issue all I can suggest is Verifying the Game Cache. If you're not sure how to do this,
Open up Steam and go to your Game Library
Right-Click on "Garry's Mod" and choose Properties
Go to the Local Files tab and choose "Verify Integrity of Game Cache"
If that does not fix your issue, please proceed to contacting Steam, I am, however, not having this issue at the moment so it could quite possibly be client side.
