So a friend of mine said that his server got "hacked" and that the server.cfg got deleted. Although I don't really believe you, I want to be sure - He doesn't really have experience with source engine servers.
So is there anything? And if there is, is there a way to protect your server from it?

also don't put your rcon password in your server.cfg
and you should be checking any small addons you put in to avoid someone "hacking" with them.
