Hey. When I startup my server it starts downloading my collection but then when it keeps downloading it was at like %10 then it said Download failed....same with all my other stuff in the collection. Is this because of my download speed for my dedicated server or...?
It's because the size of the addon in the collection currently downloading is very big. I've ran a test and Workshop ONLY allows server to download an addon for 10 seconds (If I recall correctly, but something close to that), however fast it downloads is up to the servers network.
You can fix this by manually downloading the collection to your own PC, renaming each addon in the collection to it's corresponding WorkshopID which is at the end of its URL like so: [url]http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=[/url][B]218525464[/B]
Another fix is to restart the server multiple times until it gets the addon. When Workshop times one connection out the server will always manage to download a percentage of the addon, and resuming the download the next time you restart the server.
So let's say you want to download an addon that's 200MB, and you manage to download 40MB each time, you will have to restart your server 5 times for it to get the addon...
Really stupid but that's apparently how Workshop works.
