Game crash while loading new models, using certain weapons, generating certain maps, or while gamepl

I really need help. My copy of GMOD is almost unplayable. I suffer from frequent crashes and framerate drops. I love this game but it keeps on crashing and crashing.
Especially in loading certain maps and viewing new mods.

I am playing on a MacBook Pro Late 2008. Here's my specs
4 gb 1067mhz DDR3
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Nvidea GeForce 9600M GT 256 gb

Tried to lower the graphics and resolution. Still happening. :(

I need a solution ASAP

What maps? Does it happen when you disable all of your addons?
