Clients are downloading files from FastDL, but they are not saved

Hello Community,
I mainly use a FastDL for maps, but recently I tried out a TTT Round End Music addon and I configured everything right, when I join my server, I see that the sound files are downloading but not playing. I saw that many other peoples had that problem on their servers and I used another TTT Round End Music addon. It had the same problem. Okay another and the last one. The same problem. I gave up and now I bought this addon on coderhire http://cdrh.ir/zmwx. As if you can see, there are icons in this menu, I put them on my FastDL and they are downloading but not saved or so. Where they should be is just this violet, missing texture thing. I already contacted the coder of the addon, but he couldn't help me, sadly. What could be the problem?
As alternative, you can stream your round end music using sound.Play, supplying .mp3s from your fastDL. This way people don't need to download anything.
Yeah but, my main problem is now that the menu addon doesn't work. Not the music.
If the file is "redownloaded" every time you join - it means the file is missing from your FastDL.
Okay, then that's probably the problem, but I'm sure it is on my FastDL. Do I have to add it to a specific folder in my FastDL? Like garrysmod/gamemodes/terrortown/content/materials or so? And must the file be in the exact same path in the server?
Just show me your ( client ) console log when you join the server. It should give us all the answers.
This might sound stupid, but my FastDL would not work correctly until I removed the 'http://' in the sv_downloadurl.
Try removing that ('https://' in your case), assuming you have set that.
eg. sv_downloadurl "https://mywebsite.com/fastdl" -> sv_downloadurl "mywebsite.com/fastdl"
No, it is because Google Sites are not eligible to be used as FastDL, because of this:
https://sites.google.com/site/garrysmodmapsnstuff/home/garrysmod/resource/fonts/8128c75e.ttf.bz2
And before you ask, Dropbox won't work, and the only other free web host would either be yourself (self-hosting) or 000webhost.
Okay I idiot fixed it now.
I just added the right folder that were searched by gmod and added the files. It works now. Thank you.
