i need a really good server host. i am running a custom sb3 server and so far the best i have been able to get is art of war but it isnt good enough. i need a better server so that more people can play lag free. any ideas for really good host

space battles are a must and after putting ls3 and weapons on a few ships the lag is bad
Art of War isn't very good, the animations of citizen npc's are fucked up and some npc's don't have sound.
i see.... got any better hosts...
NFOservers would be your best bet.

You are (gate) parenting your ships so you don't fly around with tons of moving props, right?

The hosting is pretty good in general, the support is usually instant as well.
The servers however are a bit pricey.
hows the lag im welling to pay a little more for a server that wont lag under ship battles
There really isn't that much lag.
go check out gmod.eu its very nice for a decent price!
20 dollars for a 10 slot is not decent price.
And im in usa...

Have you thought about switching to NFOServers yet? How much are you currently paying at AOWC?
I just did a price check on both sites:
NFOS - 10 slots - Public = $11.99/month
AOWC - 10 slots - Public = $22.60/month
No offense but I would choose NFOS over AOWC any day. I like top quality service and I know I will be getting that from NFO.

I agree with others when stating that NFO are the best i have seen, never had complaints from others regarding NFO (i am sure some exist we are all human) currently have a dedicated box with them.
If i was looking to get something going with 1 server in mind (with some possible expansion) i would go with a VPS (virtual private server) this would give you full control over the system allowing you to do anything with the server not just the 1 game server. (you would require basic knowledge on to do certain things)
If you are unsure on things go with windows server, else go with a linux (although with a gmod server might still be best to stay with windows) they also seem to offer a 2 day free trial for a VPS (nfo i'm talking about) so worth a shot.
