I looked at some post somewhere and it said that deleting the contents of my spawnlist would make my spacebuild stuff im trynna download work, now i don't have the prop AND all my npcs and props are a funny purple colour, anyone know how to fix and maybe help why putting spacebuild in my addons folder and unzipping it still not work :(

Well, you were successfully trolled..
Deleting the spawnlist will indeed restore it by default when you run GMOD. But that applies only for Source games props, such as Portal, CS:S, HL2:EP2, TF2 and so on. Custom addons spawnlist will not be re-generated by Steam. You have to get the .txt spawnlist file of your addon and place it into spawnlist folder.
Unfortunately, I can't help you with "purple" problem, which means that you are missing texture. Because I didn't bother with SpaceBuild addons.
