• NPC Personalities

Hi guys. I just started playing Garry's Mod. I know how to mod and everything but is there a way I can make the NPC's have a personality like loving you or hating you? Thanks for your time and help.
Well, it's not exactly like NPC's can be programmed to have feelings for players. It generally comes down to two sets of interactions with the Player: Hostile and Non-Hostile. Hostile obviously means that they'll try to kill you. This typically includes Combine, Metrocops, Antlions, Antlion Guards, Headcrabs and Zombies. They'll try to attack you, and attack each other (Combine vs Antlion vs Zombies). Non-Hostile includes Alyx, Rebels, Citizens, Father Grigori, and Barney. These NPC's actively help the player. A sub-group of Non-Hostile NPC's would be things like pigeons, crows, birds, Breen, and Eli. They don't really do anything, even though canonically Breen is your enemy and Eli is your ally. They simply aren't coded to be harmful to anyone.
I know about the hostile thing but is there like a mod that can do this?
I do believe there is, its on the workshop somewhere and it basically assigns you to a faction but thats it.
Sorry if I'm wrong but I found on the developer wiki there isn't just hostile and non-hostile there are a few more relationships they can have. https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Ai_relationship Disposition <choices> The way the subject(s) should feel about the target(s) Hate Fear Like Neutral Here are the descriptions Like Will not attack the target. Rebels follow automatically, and can be commanded. The player will lower his gun until the target shows signs of hostility (but can still shoot the target before this). Zombies will remain still and only turn to face the target. Neutral Will not attack. Rebels avoid player apologetically, and cannot be commanded. Zombies will remain still and only turn to face the target. Hate Considers the target an enemy/enemies and will attack. Fear Avoids the target. Headcrabs run away without attacking. Metropolice attacks. Rebels avoid without attacking, and cannot be commanded. Zombies will occasionally also swipe at the target as if it is in their flight path, but these swipes will afflict no damage to player, unless the zombie has been attacked.
