Hey there at facepunch, recently I have got a Macbook as I need it to carry my virtual world with me, part of this little world of mine includes GMod. I play on my PC a lot of Role play, I love it! And ever since I got my Mac I have missed it when ever I am away from home, which is a lot. But there is a problem, I could not play multiplayer, at an acceptable level (Actually having spaces showing ETC), then the Mac update came, at first glance it fixed everything, I was so happy! Yet there was one thing that doesn't work. I play on a role play server called Revolt Gaming, Applejack is the game mode that this server uses, and I used to be able to actually log on before this GMod update, but now I crash before I even get to their custom loading screen. I have a feeling that if I could get on it would work fine, but I can't get on, which is why I am posting. The first thing I am expecting to be asked is "What error message do you get" so I will answer now. I get stuck on downloading the last file. Surface properties I think (I will have to check if you need it exactly) then it freezes, like on the PC (at a later loading point) and then it closes and I get a window pop up saying "The application "hl2_osx" has stopped unexpectedly". I have not got any mods, I have pre-installed the map file, I can get the game mode if it helps (the servers content pack). Can anyone help me, this server is FULLY updated and their team is always on top of the bugs, I have not had a reply from them about this yet. I hope that I can fix this, I really miss GMod role play, it's the only game that fits it. ~Joe

Wait, I'm getting the same issue, but on a pc...
Getting something alike it. I'm a mac user myself, and encounter these problems. Please help! On the side note, I found a fix for most maps that crash gmod for us mac users, which is to lower all graphics to the lowest except multi core rendering. This doesn't fix prop crashing though.
