Garrys mod opens and goes to loading screen, but then crashes with no crash report

So last night gmod crashed for me and wouldnt open back up and I have tried everything I can think of, and nothing has worked. It goes to the loading screen starts to load, then closes and doesnt leave a crash report and I fail to understand why, help please, I rather enjoy playing Garrys mod, and yes, my specs meet the requirements.

Have you installed any addons recently?

I have, but I deleted them, and that didnt work, so I uninstalled and reinstalled gmod entirely and still no dice

Did you just delete them? Or did you unsubscribe from them?

I'm having about the same problem, although it seems to have started while i was ofline as it never crashed. i just went to get on today and it launches goes to loading screen and then crashes...

I just recently installed this game and I have the same issue.
I am running an AMD Phenom Quad Core 2.3Ghz. Processer with 4 gigs of ram.
My graphics card is the Radeon 6800 series.

I verified the files for Team Fortress 2, Half Life 2, Portal, Portal 2 and Garry's Mod.
I do not have Iobit.
I have attempted to run Garry's mod through all of the different window settings from the support page (windowed, 800/600, 1200/796, etc.) I have also attempted to run the game for different versions of Direct X.
I have verified that I have all the required installed versions of direct X in windows and in the game folder.
Finally, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

Is there anything else I can try or should I give up and ask for a refund?

Umm not sure if it will help you guys but I moved my GarrysMod folder to the desktop and verified files and it worked for me, but Im not sure if its a fix for anyone else.
