Gmod gets to blue loading screen, then back to desktop. - Help

I've been having problems for ♥♥♥♥ing weeks ! I start the game, it goes well until the "Loading" screen pops and then just goes back to desktop, i've tried reinstalling, deleting the garrysmod folder and all add-ons, reinstalling, checking programs that could prevent it from launching correctly, dev branches, firewall rules, Port forwarding, disabling my SLI, activating it and changing video settings, NOTHING WORKS and it's beginning to annoy me, i've been playing gmod for years before this shit started... ! PLEASE for ♥♥♥♥ sake do anyone have A REAL solution ! ? Thanks :zoid:

are you on a mac ? is there a crash reason/log. thats not much info... how long has it bean going on because Garry just updated some things and might have broke it for you

I'm on Windows 7 64 Bits, I'm running a SLI of GTX580, my drivers are up-to-date, I have crash dumps even though I have failed at understanding them

Your Garry's Mod installation might be not on SteamPipe yet. The path was GarrysMod, I tried changing the directory name because I read somewhere that it helps the recreate files or something, didn't work anyway. So i've opt for the dev branch, nothing changed, and I think the game already is on steampipe...I've tried opening it in windowed mode, it opens, goes to loading screen, back to desktop. Do you have any other thing in mind? (I reinstalled it today, I took care of deleting the folder manually before, so the game is as new as it can be.)

There's one trick: move out garrysmod folder from username one to common one. It should force steam client to force filesystem upgrade on the game.

Then why the crash dump indicate files that were uninstalled a long long time ago?

They may be old - crash dump is not updating constantly. If the game crashes again you may need to bring fresh crash dump, it's actually good idea to remove the old ones from time to time to make sure that you'll be left with only new one in case of unexpected crash.

I like the fact that you're trying to help me, but please consider that I do know many things about computers, when I provide a crash dump I make sure that it's recent enough to resolve my issue ! They are 1 day old now ! I tried to locate the failure in them but this is where I can't do shit, they're telling me nothing about the problem i'm having. As the dumps were telling me that there were files in directories that don't exist anymore, I tried to move them back in these places, just to see ! But it was pointless too, didn't work, I tried installing it on my other drive (120Gb Samsung SSD), doesn't work either.
