I got a friend who had that problem, reinstall your garrysmod. it sucks but it's the fastest and only solution I know atm.

He didn't even post his specs, how can you know what kind of computer he has and that this issue is because of hardware and not software?

It might sound stupid, but if you have tf2 installed, try verifying that.

Or better yet, put -condebug as a launch parameter on garrys mod and post your console.log (not the whole thing)
