I'm working on a perp server but I always get errors. The last one is...
Atempt to call global "Local player" a nil value. Here's the code were there is the error.

Legs.lua

hook.Add( "UpdateAnimation", "Legs:UpdateAnimation", function( ply, velocity, maxseqgroundspeed )
	if ply == LocalPlayer() then
		if IsValid( Legs.LegEnt ) then

It says that the error is where it says

if ply == LocalPlayer() then

Then it says i have an error on hooks.lua

a, b, c, d, e, f = v( ... )

[U]'Perp' does not work[/U], the gamemode was abandoned a while ago.
Don't even try to fix it, you are most likely running a fake version with malware and spyware.

And even if it did work, we all hate it.

LocalPlayer is clientside. Are you running this clientside?

I have to disagree. It may not be fixed by the original creator, but any server owner who knows how to code lua can fix it themselves. I do think that people should stop posting PERP related questions on help and support, though since there is no official release.

PERP is a leaked gamemode......It's not initially broken, But when you bought/obtained it you coded it to your own liking (Of course unless when you bought it, you had the person pre-customize it for you.) In that case it's either of [B][U]YOUR[/U][/B] faults.

That's why i don't even bother with perp, It can easily get fucked up.

I've been following a gamemode in development called Society that looks like the final replacement to PERP and maybe even DarkRP for all the haters of that gamemode. Anyways, on topic, sonny is right. Leaked gamemode with no official fix. Don't post help threads about it if you're using a broken gamemode. Contact the owner of a working PERP server.
