When ever I launch ANY singleplayer map, it loads to "initializing game data" then crashes without even saying "hl2.exe has stop working". It just crashes to desktop. Multiplayer works fine without crashes. Does anyone have a solution? :rolleyes:
Try removing some of your workshop addons.

Removed every single one of them, still crashing
Also make sure any legacy addons in the addons folder are removed. Have you tried loading a different map?

Having the exact same problem, have removed some workshop addons but I don't think that's it because the day before it happened it worked fine. Haven't tried multiplayer.
Deleted the whole Gmod folder and re-installed it, same problem.
Send dump file.
