SRCDS Wine Issues, HELP ME! - Help

Hello! Also, before I start PLEASE don't ignore this topic.... I know 5 other people that posted the same problem without a response... So heres my problem. I installed Garry's Mod on my mac with Wine from the official guide: [url]http://maurits.tv/data/garrysmod/wiki/wiki.garrysmod.com/index1636-[/url] 2.html as i've done many times before. Everything seems ok but when I start it.... Server OS: Mac OS X 1.7.4 Lion 64-bit Processor: Core i5 2500k Ram: 16gb Game(s): garrysmod Start Up Command: wine srcds.exe -console -game garrysmod -port 27015 +map gm_construct +maxplayers 16 (I did a Macports install of Wine followed by this guide: [url]http://maurits.tv/data/garrysmod/wiki/wiki.garrysmod.com/index1636-2.html[/url], I've used it before on my mac laptop and even copied the old files over... still it won't work :/)

Isn't there a proper GMod version for mac now? You shouldn't need to use wine?

Didn't you hear I said SRCDS? I am trying to run a Dedicated Server...? Or is there actually a SRCDS release for mac...

if srcds runs on linux shouldn't it theoretically run on mac? stay away from wine, it doesn't work for srcds (not well anyway)

Second of all, define Linux? Mac is Darwin, and Mac also has its own Frameworks. .bin and .app files are completely different binarys. Because of the separate Kernals/OSes/Frameworks you CAN NOT run Linux .bins on mac, and vise-versa. Third of all, THERE IS NO NATIVE LINUX SRCDS, people use wine to run SRCDS ON LINUX *facepalm

Wine doesn't work well with scrds. Oh and. Don't bump topics. You will piss off the moderators greatly.
