I am wondering if there is a way to make my GMod Sandbox server more uncrashable even without any admins on. People can easily crash it with props/entities/duplicator. I want it to be an open build with a lot of freedom but hard to crash. Are there any automatic cleanup/admin addons that would be useful to me? Any help here would be great
It can help to make a .bat that can start your server up if it crashes.
That doesn't fix the original problem though.

Yes, limit those tools or props that cause the crashing. I do think that Falco's prop protection (now provided independently) has the option to for instance, "ghost" props when you start spawning too many, too fast, or try spawning props in other props, or too big ones, etc. I'd say this is quite a good compromise.
My solution to this was to give up trying to restrict players from trying to crash w/ prop limits ghosting etc. but in the case the server does crash (crash i mean too laggy for anyone to connect) I just remove all props/entities. I made a small lua script for it heres a link if anybody wants to use it:

Put the .lua file in garrysmod/lua/autorun/server. For dedicated servers only it will do nothing on a listen server lol. It just removes all props/entities when no one is on the server it works great for mine

Just get an active mods or admins and tell them to remove useless stuff when it starts lagging or they can ban the prop minges too
